If using the slices to make tea, let boil for at least 30 minutes or up to two hours. You can optionally add herbs and spices like ginger, cloves, anise and ginger root. Strain the boiled tea, add a natural sweetener if desired and enjoy.
Note: The longer you simmer the mixture, the stronger the brew will become and the more of the Reishi's medicinal components will be released. Feel free to simmer for longer, up to half a day or more. Keep adding water to make sure they do not dry out.
